Hello my deer.
It is a brilliant fall day in Utah today. (Actually it’s overcast but in my mind that IS brilliant.)
The leaves are falling with the help of an autumn breeze.
There’s that smell in the air…you know the one.
I have my pumpkin candle burning in the Art Cabin while I work on tidying it up in preparation for upcoming workshops. I’m also working on some projects to make the cabin just a little more special for our guests. It’s the simple little details that make a house a home, right?
Can you even stand it, how magnificent it all is?
Fall can literally bring me to tears from the beauty of it all.
(I’m kind of a sensitive soul.)
I can really really feel it today.
The change that is coming.
Pretty soon this will be an awesome display of water and ice.
This place I live is breathtaking in every season.
The outdoors is my church.
It is the place I feel closest to that which is greater than we are.
I stand in reverent awe of all the beauty that has been created by time.
And give thanks for it all.
Take some time this weekend to look at the beauty around you.
Wherever you are, in the country or the city, there is something.
That thing that will take your breath away and make you feel your wild heart beating.
