Will you use your imagination for a minute and do something with me?
Picture yourself in your dream home.
It’s clean and there is a candle burning.
A yummy dinner is cooking in the oven.
The fire is crackling and warm.
You are curled up reading your favorite book, or watching the movie that is your go to, feel good, movie.
Maybe the music that soothes your soul is playing.
You are enjoying peace and quiet.
It’s beautiful and peaceful and cozy.
Now I want you to imagine that it’s a few years down the road…
A couple of rooms need a new coat of paint.
The carpet has some stains and needs to be cleaned.
The fridge is old and isn’t staying as cold as it should.
It really needs to be replaced.
The fireplace needs to be cleaned.
There is some clutter and stuff that needs to go away.
It’s still beautiful but it’s gotten some wear and tear and needs a little freshening up.
A little spring cleaning.
Lastly, I want you to look forward many many years…
You haven’t taken very good care of your house.
Neither has anyone else, but you were too stressed, tired, or busy to really pay attention.
The grass hasn’t been mowed for weeks.
The flower beds have been taken over by weeds.
The faucets are leaking and the toilet runs all.the.time.
Someone has taken a permanent marker to your beautifully painted walls.
Your cupboards are bare, yummy dinner smells are long gone.
The roof has a leak and it is too hard to fix it.
Someone has spilled the garbage out on the kitchen floor and not bothered to pick it up.
There are people living here that don’t even belong here, and they just don’t care about your home.
It is stinky.
It is cold.
It’s dark and dank and yucky and you don’t even like being there anymore.
Your beautiful sanctuary of peace is gone and you just aren’t sure you have what it takes to restore it.
Now this is really going to stretch your imagination…
What if your house was your soul?
What if that beautiful soul of yours needed a refresh?
Would you take the time to do that?
Would you look at it and think, “I need my soul to be a house full of peace and beauty again?”
It’s worth it to take a little time and effort and get it back to where it was.
I’ll do it!
What if that beautiful soul of yours had been badly neglected, abused and taken for granted?
What if it needed a huge restoration?
Would you look at it and say, “Hey, my soul is worth the effort and hard work it will take to restore it back to the safe and peaceful place it was before.”
Or would you say, “It’s too much. I can’t do it. It is going to take too much time. It’s going to cost so much money. What if I can’t get the people out who don’t belong here, that are making messes and breaking things?”
What would you do?
Would you give your soul the much needed restoration?
What if I told you, you already had the tools for the job, and I will teach you how to use them?
Let me help you restore.
The choice is yours.
You are worth it.
Soul Restoration is a beautiful curriculum developed by Melody Ross. It holds all of the tools you need to either do a light refresh of your soul house or to do a complete restoration. Through it you will learn how to close for restoration and take time for yourself to do the work. You can learn more about it HERE. You can read more about my Soul Restoration journey HERE.
Join me for an all inclusive retreat to do your soul restoration.
Or a 3-day Workshop at Fallow Field Farm in Lindon, Utah.
There are individual classes available for Truth vs. Lies, or to learn She Did It Anyway, two modules of the curriculum. I also do a fun workshop building yourself a book to fill with inspiration to help you through the days that are hard.
I would love to be able to help you reconnect with yourself and restore.
