This week has been busy!
We got to go camping last weekend, which is one of my favorite things.
It was also the 4th of July!
This cool shot is actually the valley that I live in. The neighboring town hangs the largest free flying flag, or something like that, across one of the canyons. It is something to see.
Then my littlest turned 11! ELEVEN. Each year they get older is one more year closer to an empty nest. I super love my girls but empty nesting will be not so bad. This littlest one, she’s one you’d almost like to keep for a few years longer than most though. (She tells me I’m beautiful a lot.:))
One of my Brave Girls Camp sisters stopped by on her way through Utah going home to Colorado. It was sooo good to see her and catch up. Those women you meet at retreats, they wriggle into your heart somehow and camp out there.
We started celebrating Christmas in July this week with an awesome give-away each day for a free spot in a Truth Card Workshop. We did a couple of FB lives that were a good time. Yesterday we started making glitter mugs, you can check out the live video HERE. We are starting to get things ready for our Christmas in the Mountains retreat and glitter mugs are one of the fun gifts we will be giving to you, as well as a little craft we will be making together. Good times people, good times.
This week is ‘She Did It Anyway’ week. So free spots everyday to a ‘She Did It Anyway Workshop’ in the Art Cabin and some other good stuff. I am headed out to California tomorrow so we are doing a live tonight to introduce just what the heck ‘She Did It Anyway’ is. Speaking of California and Brave Girls Club sisters…5 of us are having a collaboration week to come up with new cool classes to teach. I’m super excited to see them and to share ideas that will make our businesses better. You will hopefully be the benefactor of some of those ideas!!
Because this week has been so busy I haven’t really done any cooking, cleaning, or anything else really except for go from thing to thing and clean up in between. Do you sometimes feel that you could spend all day, everyday, just cleaning up after people and cooking?? Please tell me it is not just me.
BUT I did try this recipe last week and it will most definitely be at a retreat for breakfast.
I joined up to be part of this business group and so far, so good. Its for small business owners.
I watched this and it made me cry, a good cry. I love it when people do good things in the world.
I have lost myself in this Pinterest board, because it’s SO HOT here in Utah. Like 107 hot. I do not do well in heat. It makes me onry and angry and depressed…for reals. HATE it. Fall, autumn, the most beautiful time of the year…that’s more my speed.
In fact, I’ll just leave you with this.
p.s. if you aren’t following us on FB…now would be a good time to do that. 🙂
