Sundance Mountain Resort is world-renowned for so many things. It is owned by Robert Redford, who has made it his mission to keep this area pristine and undeveloped. It is located on a small road called the Alpine Loop in the heart of Provo Canyon in Utah. You may have heard about the Sundance Film Festival or the fabulous skiing. The cabin we are renting is owned and operated by the Stewart family. They were the first to settle the canyon and actually sold the resort to Robert Redford. Their family has been the stewards of this land for generations. It is such a special place. I grew up just over the mountain from Sundance. I learned to ski there and have spent many nights enjoying the outdoor plays and just spending time in the peaceful surroundings. We will, of course, take an afternoon field trip to the resort. The cabin is about 10 minutes past the resort. I love Utah and, to me, this area is one of the most magnificent parts of this gorgeous state I call home. I am so excited to get to share it with you.
The cabin we stay in may not necessarily be the one in the photo on the retreat page. It will be equally as beautiful though!
If you are able to spend an extra day or two in the area we would be happy to give you some recommendations for things to see and do.
