Happy fall my friends!!
It is officially here and I couldn’t be more content.
So today I wanted to share a little exercise with you that I learned from Soul Restoration wayyy back when I first took it.
It is called this=this. Easy peasy.
There are many many words that can fill in the blank but we are going to concentrate on happiness today.
So get yourself a notebook or journal and a pen…go ahead I will wait for you.
At the top of the page in large letters I want you to write this=happiness.
There is no right or wrong way to do it.
Then I want you to write down whatever comes in your mind.
It doesn’t have to be nice and neat or pretty or doodled or anything…just let it free flow.
Leave yourself room to come back and add more words, they will come to you here and there.
You can see some of mine…so simple. I have two pages full of these little happy makers.
They aren’t extravagant, most of them don’t cost any money, they are things that are pretty simple.
I didn’t even realize some of them made me happy till they popped into my head.
Now, how does it work once they are written down? Do I hide the notebook away somewhere I can’t find it?
Nope, I keep it in the cupboard by my bed. I can glance down at the list anytime I need to and see one or two things that can cheer me up. See, I told you, easy peasy.
I challenge you to do this simple exercise today! Set aside a few minutes and just let your mind flow.
Then put it somewhere safe and when you need that list it will be there for you!!
